Terms & Conditions
Terms & Conditions
These terms apply to your use of the AcrossX website and to any order you place with us. Please read them before placing an order. By using this website or placing an order you agree to these terms.
1. About us
This website is operated by AcrossX, Unit 5, Mirravale Trading Estate, Selinas Lane, Dagenham, England, RM8 1YY. You can contact us by email at info@acrossx.co.uk or by phone on 020 8616 9150.
2. Your account
You may need an account to see prices and place orders. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account. Please tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account. We may review and approve accounts before they can be used to order.
3. Products and prices
We take care to describe and show our products accurately, but colours and packaging may differ slightly from the images shown. Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP). Any VAT and delivery charges are shown before you confirm your order. If we discover an error in the price of a product you have ordered, we will contact you before accepting the order.
4. Orders
Your order is an offer to buy from us. A contract is formed only when we confirm that we have accepted and dispatched your order. We may decline an order, for example if a product is unavailable or a price was shown in error. If we cannot fulfil your order, we will refund any payment you have made.
5. Delivery
We deliver to the addresses we offer at checkout. Delivery times given are estimates. Risk in the products passes to you when they are delivered to the address you gave us.
6. Your right to cancel (consumers)
If you are buying as a consumer, you can cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the products, without giving a reason, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. To cancel, contact us using the details above. You must return the products within 14 days of telling us you wish to cancel, and we will refund you within 14 days of receiving them back (or proof that you have sent them). Products must be returned in a reasonable condition; we may reduce your refund if they have been handled more than necessary to check them.
7. Faulty products
Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If a product is faulty or not as described, please contact us and we will arrange a repair, replacement or refund as required by law.
8. Trade accounts
If you buy through a trade account, you are buying as a business and the consumer cancellation rights in section 6 do not apply. Trade pricing, payment terms and any minimum order quantities are agreed with your account and may be updated from time to time.
9. Our liability
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. If you are a business customer, we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business or indirect loss.
10. Use of this website
You must not misuse this website, including by introducing viruses or attempting to gain unauthorised access. The content of this website, including text, images and logos, belongs to AcrossX or its licensors and may not be copied without permission.
11. Your personal information
We use your personal information as set out in our Privacy Policy.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The terms that apply to your order are those shown on the website when you placed it.
13. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
